Dedicated to the education, preservation and public awareness of the colorful forestry history of the Powell River area.

Open by appointment September to June for groups and researchers. School and bus tours welcome.

MAJOR DISPLAY DATES: Logger Sports 2nd weekend in July and Sea Fair (mid-August).

The Forestry Museum is involved with many projects, some underway, others in the planning stages. It takes time, money, and the dedication of our volunteers to continue our successes.

Our program includes:

A small gift shop is inside the lobby of the Forestry Museum, managed and staffed by local artists and craftspeople, and offers souvenirs unique to Powell River.
