Powell River is wheelchair-friendly!

Persons with wheelchairs will love Powell River. From the flat shopping and business districts of upper Westview and Marine Avenue (a big hill between, mind you!) to the spectacular Inland Lake Trail and Recreation Area, visitors will see Powell River has gone out of our way to invite everyone.

Many accommodation providers are also wheelchair accessible (though some may not qualify for the rigid standards of the Tourism British Columbia recommendation they are nonetheless very popular with wheelchair guests who make many repeat visits). For information about wheelchair accessible accommodations and restaurants, please contact Tourism Powell River at 604.485.4000 or by emailing info@discoverpowellriver.com.
