Powell River Ferry Terminal arrival, from Comox

Whether your tastes run to roughing it at a campground, or living it up at a hotel or resort - or anything in between - we've got you covered on the Sunshine Coast!

COAST MOTELS/HOTELS
BED & BREAKFASTS
COTTAGES

Bed and breakfasts make wonderful stays for singles, couples, and small groups of usually 4 people or less travelling together interested in a more personalized holiday. While some Sunshine Coast B&B's offer more privacy through separate suites, you are staying in a home rather than a commercial building.

There is a wide range of cottage property types on the Coast. Some are geared to singles or adults/couples, while others are perfect for group or family vacations. There are even cottage rental accommodations geared to farm vacations, with animals and large acreages.

SUNSHINE COAST CAMPING
RESORTS

Of course, Camping is also very popular on the Sunshine Coast, almost any time of year. Camping ranges from strictly roughing it at Forestry Parks, through family campgrounds and resorts right through to the jewels of BC's park system, the Provincial Park Campgrounds. We'll introduce you to most of them, and give you contact numbers for the rest!

The Coast is also very well known for its Resorts, many located along the gateway to Desolation Sound. These resorts cater to families, groups, RV travellers, and boaters. Many have watercraft rentals.
RV TRAVEL
HOSTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

RVers will find listings and information for RV Parks around the Coast in our two new sections - we're working hard at expanding these sections, too.

Looking for an inexpensive night's lodging without having to camp? Try a hostel! The Upper Sunshine Coast is part of the BC Hosteling Network and offers true hostel style accommodation for those on a budget, hiking or biking the Coast, or those so philosphically inclined!

An important organization on the Coast is the Sunshine Coast Bed, Breakfast and Cottage Association. More information about this organization can be found on the Bed and Breakfast and Cottage pages: http://www.bbsunshinecoast.com.
